May 8, 2002 Enid, OK

This is when we first got close enough to see the base.  The line was already outflow dominant at that point.  See the rain flowing to the south.

This is under the base of the storm.  Lots of movement in these SLC's (scary looking clouds), but no rotation.  We would occasionally see a dust swirl off in the distance, call it a dustnado but nothing else.

We were treated to a spectacular sunset.  This picture doesn't do the original justice.  The original almost looked like a painting.
