Childress, TX to Altus, OK

This day was made up of too many storms to chase.  I didn't exactly know which one to pick.  Unfortunately, I picked the one closest to Childress, TX.  The storm farther south near Paducah produced tornadoes.  The storm I was on had some nice rotation and a well pronounced wall cloud.  There was one needle funnel that appeared for about 2 minutes before the RFD and outflow cut it off.  After that I headed up to Altus to watch that outflow-dominated storm roll through there.   Below are some pictures of the event.

Nice wallcloud with rotation.

Rotation picks up a little speed.

RFD appears and the show is over.

Nice mammatus clouds.
